On the youth side, Anderson Mesplay and Kelby Conrady took first place Nov. The Herrman twins, who finished 23rd on Stockton, are within spitting distance of first place in both the Kansas and Open division standings, sitting in third and second place, respectively. Mains and Chapman, who finished fourth on Pomme de Terre with 9.97 pounds, also currently lead the Kansas Division and Open Division standings. 7 on Pomme de Terre in Hermitage, Mo., with Topeka’s Nick and Kyle Herrman finishing second with 10.85 pounds. Louisburg’s Lucas Sheafer and Steele Smith won the second event of the weekend Nov. Kickback Club’s Keiron Langston and Wyatt Sutton took fourth place with 5.53 pounds, while newcomers Cooper Shannon and Cayden Harmon, of Baldwin City, rounded out the top five with a 5.14-pound bag. Franklin County’s Todd Crosley and Austin Curtis, representing OutCast Bass Club, finished second with 6.70 pounds, while Legacy Christian’s Ryder Mains and Mason Chapman finished third with 6.32.
